A personal injury claim arises when someone acts in a negligent manner to cause injury to another person. Under North Carolina law, if you have been injured in an auto accident, you may be entitled to receive compensation including, but not limited to, medical expenses, lost wages, and pain and suffering. It is important for you to contact an attorney after you have been involved in an auto accident to make certain that your rights are protected. Our team of attorneys, paralegals, and case managers are here to guide you through the process and work with you in obtaining the best possible result.
When you call the Pantazis Law Firm, you will speak with an attorney to discuss your claim in more detail. If we can help you, we will make an appointment for you to come to the office for a free consultation.
In order to expedite the process, we ask that you bring your accident report, car insurance declarations page, pay stubs and any paperwork you have from your medical providers, if this information is available. Our firm has a bilingual attorney on staff, so we can also handle claims on behalf of Spanish speaking individuals.
Payment / Fees
All personal injury cases are taken on a “contingency fee” basis. This means that you pay no money up front for your lawyer. Instead, your lawyer will take the fee as a percentage of your settlement. You are still responsible for any costs associated with obtaining the settlement or award, such as the fees for gathering your medical records, court costs, etc. These costs are in addition to the percentage fee, but these costs do not have to be paid up front. They will be reimbursed to the attorney at the end of your case.
